The best poster award in the area of Health Sciences to the paper titled Anatomical markers as a tool to identify genuine raw drug Asoka from its common adulterants by A. Jayanthi and A.B. Rema Shree in the 17th Kerala Science Congress, held in January 2005 at Kerala Forest Research Institute, Peechi, Thrissur.

3) Best poster award in the area of Life Sciences to the paper titled "Micropropagation from juvenile explants of Operculina turpethum – A threatened medicinal plant" in the 18th Kerala Science Congress, held in January 2006 at Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS), Thiruvananthapuram

4) Dr. Geetha, S. Pillai, Senior Scientist, received Jawaharlal Nehru Award for PG Agricultural Research 2004 in the field of Crop improvement - Germplasm Conservation, from Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, for her thesis.

5) Mr. Gerald Martin, Scientist, Received International Plant Genetic Resources (IPGRI) Scholarship– to attend training on “Use of Molecular Markers for characterization of genetic resources’ held at Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, China.

The best poster award in Health Sciences to the paper titled Calcium oxalate crystal and stone cells distribution pattern as a key to identify ten important raw drugs used in Ayurveda by A.B. Rema shree and Jayanthi A in the 18th Kerala Science Congress, held in January, 2006 at Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS), Thiruvananthapuram.

Br. by Satheesh George, Hashim K.M., A.B. Remashree, Anu Augustine and Indira Balachandran presented in the 21st Kerala science congress.

Br., Decalepis hamiltonii Wight & Arn. and Utleria salicifolia Bedd. ex Hook.f. by Satheesh George, Geetha S. P., Anu Augustine and Indira Balachandran presented in the 22nd Kerala science congress.

Received IAPT Award to Prabhukumar KM in 2012 for the best Poster Presentation in 6th International Symposium on the Family Zingiberaceae held at University of Calicut with free online access of the Journal TAXON.
